Osaka-cho, Takayama is famous for being the city with the most waterfalls in Japan. Many of these waterfalls were formed by the flow of lava from the two eruptions of Mount Ontake and they continue to change their shape even now due to erosion caused by river’s flow. With the waterfall tour, you enter a world that stimulates all five senses in a way that can only be enjoyed by those step into it. There are sometimes opportunities to see rainbows created by the spray of flowing water and even wild animals. In the spring, you can feel the signs of fresh greenery, and in the summer, bathe in negative ions. In the autumn, the area is covered in fall foliage and the winter brings an opportunity to fully enjoy a tour of frozen waterfalls. You will find all the charm of Japan’s four seasons.
